Warranty Policy

Hull Warranty

Wild Boats provides a three (3) year manufacturer’s structural warranty on the boat hull only from the date of delivery.
This warranty applies exclusively to:
  • Structural integrity of the hull
  • Weld integrity
  • Manufacturing defects in the aluminium or fibreglass hull structure
This warranty does not cover:
  • Engines or mechanical components
  • Electrical systems
  • Trailers
  • Accessories
  • Electronics
  • Third-party installed equipment
  • General wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, impact, neglect, corrosion due to poor maintenance, or unauthorised modifications
Paint is covered for 12 months against manufacturing defects only. Cosmetic wear, fading, impact damage or environmental exposure are not covered.
As Wild Boats imports and supplies the hull only, all other components are covered separately by their respective manufacturers.

Outboard Motor Warranty

Outboard motors are supplied and warranted directly by the manufacturer.
Wild Boats recommends Honda Marine outboards. Warranty coverage, terms and conditions are governed solely by Honda Marine.

Any claims relating to the engine must be made directly through the authorised engine dealer network.

Trailer Warranty

Trailers supplied through Wild Boats are manufactured and warranted by Affordable Trailers Tasmania.
Trailer warranty coverage is:
  • 12 months from date of purchase
  • Covers structural components including chassis, suspension and electrical components (subject to manufacturer terms)
The trailer warranty:
  • Covers parts and labour as defined by the manufacturer
  • Is transferable within the warranty period
  • Requires the trailer to be maintained in roadworthy condition
Boat trailers must be rinsed after saltwater exposure and maintained appropriately.
The trailer warranty does not cover:
  • Normal wear and tear items (including brake linings, bearings, tyres, lights etc.)
  • Lack of servicing or maintenance
  • Modifications (including but not limited to wheel size changes)
  • Damage due to misuse, overloading or neglect
All trailer warranty claims must be directed to the trailer manufacturer.

Important Notice

Wild Boats acts as the importer and supplier of the hull only. All third-party components — including engines, trailers, electronics and accessories — are covered solely under their respective manufacturer warranties.
By purchasing a vessel from Wild Boats, you acknowledge and accept that warranty coverage is divided between the hull manufacturer and relevant third-party suppliers.
