Delivery Policy

At Wild Boats, we are committed to delivering your vessel in the most cost-efficient and professionally managed manner possible. To maintain competitive pricing and efficient logistics, all international shipments are consolidated and containerised according to vessel size.
By placing an order, you acknowledge and agree to the following delivery terms:

Container & Shipping Policy

Boats 6.25 metres and below

All boats 6.25 metres and below are shipped in pairs within a single container.
This means:
  • A minimum of two confirmed customer orders is required before shipment.
  • Your order may be held until a second vessel is completed and ready for dispatch.
This policy allows us to:
  • Optimise container utilisation
  • Reduce shipping costs
  • Pass savings directly to customers
Average timeframe from order to delivery is approximately 4 months, subject to production schedules and container availability.

Standard Boats 6.5 metres to 9 metres

Boats between 6.5 metres and 9 metres are shipped in a 40ft High Cube (HQ) container.
Shipping timing will depend on:
  • Production completion
  • Container scheduling
  • Port availability
Delivery timeframes for these models may vary based on build specifications.

Boats Over 9 Metres Including Catamarans

Boats exceeding 9 metres and Catamarans require specialised shipping and will be transported via flat rack container.
Due to the complexity and variable freight costs:
  • Shipping for these vessels is quoted separately at the time of order.
  • Pricing will reflect freight rates, port charges and handling requirements at the time of booking.

Delivery Location

All Wild Boats deliveries are made exclusively to our Hobart warehouse.
We do not currently offer direct delivery to residential or alternative addresses.

Payment Terms

For all boat orders:
  • 40% deposit upon order confirmation
  • 20% progress payment upon notification of shipment
  • Balance payable prior to collection
Production does not commence until deposit is received.

What’s Included in Standard Orders

All advertised pricing:
  • Includes GST
  • Includes international shipping to Hobart (standard container freight only)
  • Covers hull-only with standard inclusions
Optional upgrades and custom specifications Catamarans and Boats over 9 metres are quoted separately and must be approved prior to production.

Customs, Duties & Additional Charges

Standard container shipments include applicable customs clearance and duties.
Additional charges may apply in certain circumstances, including:
  • Expedited shipping requests
  • Oversized or heavy configurations
  • Special handling requirements
  • Custom structural modifications
  • Flat rack shipments (boats over 9m)
Any additional costs will be quoted prior to final confirmation.

Order Updates

We will provide updates throughout the production and shipping process and notify you once the container is ready for dispatch and again upon arrival in Hobart.

Storage & Collection

Customers will be notified once their vessel arrives at our Hobart warehouse.
  • Collection must occur within 7 days of notification.
  • Storage fees may apply for delayed collection.

Responsibility Upon Arrival

It is the customer’s responsibility to:
  • Finalise payment prior to collection
  • Inspect the vessel upon collection
  • Notify Wild Boats immediately of any damage or discrepancies
